Experiment #uncounted
We went to the biology laboratory, and we had a scary yet gross experiment. We were divided into groups of about 5, and were expected to cut a chicken foot – seperating the flesh and the bone. I think the objection here is to let us see how does tibia of a chicken looks like. (not entirely sure) The teachers provided a tray containing a chicken foot, 2 pinsets, and a kitchen knife. This crow fellow was so ridiculously smelly, a friend of mine, which is a bad-smell-anti decided to just watch us from afar. I was too excited but also disgusted. So, I asked my friends to pinch the chicken using the pinsets, and I tried cutting it without looking at it (because I know I would throw out if I look at it) Since my practical skill is a reject, I failed and the chicken couldn’t be cut. Then my friend had another idea which we believed could work. He pinched one side of the chicken manually with his hand. And my other friend was asked to peel off the skin with hand. Did it work? No. The skin was too elastic as a rubber, so we couldn’t peer the skin off. After that I took a peek at another group and they were ripping off the chickens’ claws. I asked why should they do that. They said that it will help them peering off the skin, because when it’s cut already, we can try to peer off the skin from the below side. I was like… EURIKA! Then I asked my friend to get rid of the claws. After they did, I tried peering the skin off, and it worked out. Finally, one of my friend kindly offer to finish the job off (peering of the entire skin). It was really scary, because the blood trilled by a little.
