Happy Birthday MOM!
Everyone gets old everyday, and everyone has got their birthday date differently. That’s the law of mother nature. I always feel happy when my birthday arrives, and I feel happy when my close friends and family celebrate their birthday. I love contributing in everyone I know’s birthday, I just feel blessed by doing that.

Today is my mom’s birthday, she’s turning 40 today, she’s no longer anymore, but her beauty lasts. She was born on October 13 1969, she’s been living her tough life long enough, hasn’t she? I wanted to buy her a special gift for her birthday, so I brought 100 thousands Rupiah (about 10 US dollars) to school, I planned to go to a gift shop after school. But it wasn’t like what I expected. Our driver wasn’t here. So I went home with my friend (riding her car, so I can’t go to the giftshop), so here I was, at home, without any idea what to give to my mom. Then I got an idea, I talked to my sister, and asked her if she would like to donate money to buy mom a birthday cake. She agreed, then she gave me her 20 thousands Rupiah. When my driver (finally) came, I ask him to bring me to the cake shop, but I told my mom that I was going to go to the stationery shop to buy some mandatory stuffs I need for the trip tomorrow. So she allowed me. Then in the cakeshop, I didn’t know which cake to buy, since I’ve got only 100 thousands Rupiah and all the cakes were well-made and kinda expensive. So I picked a small and cheapest one (it’s a choco sponge cake with fresh fruits on it), it costed me 100 thousands Rupiah, and it was really small (about 10×20 cm). I put “happy birtday mom” as a message on the cake, and I asked for the 4 and 0 candles (for 40). They wrapped the cake in a nicely-done box and put it inside a pretty paper bag. I brought it home, then I silently put the candles on the cake and lit them.
I called my mom then sang “Happy Birthday” for her. She was so happy and she cried. She made a wish and blowed the candles up. YAY!!!
BTW, tomorrow I am going to a trip with my school. So I wouldn’t be able to go online. Just reminding yah.
It’s Called ‘Starting from Scratches”
I’ve been feeling kinda guilty for not taking a good care of my own blog, for posting stuffs I don’t need to post, and to boo the visitors out with my latest post, which was posted when I was feeling really mad. That’s why, I need to have a fresh new start (I believe everyone deserves it, so I don’t think I took the wrong decision), and deleted all my posts and pages. I want to improve this blog, and post inspiring stuffs, not those which instead make the visitors shun me. lol. Then I deleted my old skins and decided to start a new one from scratches. I even wrote all the pages and contents from scratches. And I didn’t regret at all.
My life is so different now, there are alot of people who left my life, and alot people who entered my life as well. So many stuffs and things have happened and passed. Like, having new friends, losing friends, passing exams and tests, discovering new things, having a new secret crush, buying new stuffs, and having a really nicely wonderful holiday. But the most important thing is, I am happy, and I’m not regreting anything at all.
In case if you forget who I am, I am Rachel, now living in Jakarta, Indonesia. I am webdesigning, and schooling. LOL, even though I’m not sure there would be someone who forgot about me.

So, let’s move and talk about this layout, I made this layout in 2 days. It’s one of the easiest layouts I made. I designed almost everything by myself, I even drew that cute little girl myself (that’s why you would probably think that it looks weird, well, sort of) I really love this fish eye AJAX dock navigation on the top (the one with home, girl, book, etc icons) it’s so catchy and match the layout so much. And I also love the footer (where I put my latest tweets), it’s kinda unique for me. WEEE…. what else? OH YEAH, I really love how it doesn’t say “1 comment left” or something like that but “☆0 TH♡UGHTS received” instead, I just found that it’s so cute. hehehe. Well, I love this layout overall. Thanks mr. brain, for giving my hands inspirations. I owe you big time!
